Flexible bone substitute – Powerbone Flex
Brand: Bonegraft
Powerbone β-TCP is a flexible silicate-based It is a synthetic bone void filler produced from Powerbone beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) granules and the absorbable polymer [(lactide-co-ε-caprolactone)]. The Flex polymer is converted into lactic acid and decomposes into CO₂ and H₂O.
Powerbone Flex has a unique micro- and macroporous structure that most closely resembles the structure of natural human bone. It dissolves gradually within the body, promoting new bone formation through the release of calcium and phosphate ions. Over time, the porous structure is incorporated by the cells and replaced by healthy, viable bone.
