Powerbone is a porous bone substitute based on beta-tricalcium phosphate (b-TCP) containing ZrO₂ nanoparticles. The b-TCP component is rapidly resorbed and enables excellent bone integration. Powerbone materials also contain silicate, which enhances the retention of circulating proteins, thereby endowing the graft with bioactive properties.
