Tissue adhesive - EPIGLU®
EPIGLU® is the first ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive, offering numerous benefits for home care, surgical procedures, emergency interventions and other forms of patient care. It comes in a unique pipette-style pack, making it easy to apply; the 3 g pack is sufficient for at least 20 treatments. It secures the edges of wounds and protects them from overstretching.
EPIGLU® is an adhesive developed for closing wounds on the skin’s surface. Regardless of the length of the wound (including superficial wounds following the removal of skin flaps), it can be used to treat any cut, laceration or surgical wound that has stopped bleeding and is no more than 6 hours old. EPIGLU® can also be used on the oral mucosa and the external genitalia. EPIGLU® polymerises in seconds and provides a secure bond even on long, tensioned wounds.
