Bonalive Putty is a ready-to-use bone substitute paste. It can be injected directly into the desired defect site. Its base material consists of bioactive glass (S53P4) granules and a water-soluble synthetic binder. In terms of its composition, Bonalive bioactive paste is made entirely from particles found in the human body (Si, Na, Ca and P).
It has over 20 years of clinical experience.
The synthetic binder is absorbed following injection of the paste, thereby allowing body fluids to permeate between the granules.
It is not only osteoconductive but also osteostimulative*. (*non-osteoinductive; it activates the genes responsible for bone formation in osteoblasts)
