All Inion CPS™️ implants are composed of Inion® biodegradable polymer blends. They possess excellent performance characteristics, as well as strength and degradation properties that support a more natural healing process.
The Inion CPS™️ Baby bioresorbable fixation system has been specifically designed for use in paediatric craniofacial trauma and reconstructive procedures. Inion CPS™️ Baby implants are composed of L-lactide, polyglycolide and TMC (trimethylene carbonate).
The ratio of each polymer varies depending on the intended application of the implant, ensuring that the strength, mouldability and degradation profile best meet clinical requirements.
